The scratchy, children's book-style artwork in Don't Starve has a menacing air to it despite its amusing design. Characters with odd proportions may be amusing to look at, but the game's dark side is always lurking nearby. Even though death is inevitable, you'll gather food, scavenge materials, and maintain your fire in a last-ditch effort to survive.
Don't Starve promotes investigation and testing. The atmosphere is on par with the best horror video games thanks to the gloomy storybook graphics; the first time your fire goes out will make you shiver. But once you master the mechanics, the game's excellent narrative will have you completely engrossed.
2) Minrecraft
There's a reason why Minecraft consistently makes our lists of the best Android games. It's a game where you can play however you want, whether you like to build peacefully or you want to push the boundaries of your survival abilities. There are numerous ways to play the game, but Survival mode is the best way to enjoy the well-known sandbox title.
In order to survive in Minecraft's Survival mode, you must control your hunger and fend off monsters. You'll pass away fairly frequently, so keep your valuables safely at home. Grab a friend and go on an adventure together; it's a fantastic cooperative survival experience.
3) This War of Mine
This War of Mine is a game that makes us confront the unpleasant realities of war. Dysmantle is a post-apocalyptic survival game with a unique twist that is fairly conventional. You can dismantle (or destroy) everything you see to obtain the supplies you'll need to live. Thankfully, there are no daily or in-game rewards; instead, the entire game can be unlocked with a single purchase.
Despite not being the most inventive survival game, Dysmantle provides all the features you need in a polished, expertly made package. There aren't many glitches or bugs, and the game is difficult enough to be enjoyable rather than tedious.
5) Plague Inc.
I know what you're thinking—Plague Inc. isn't a survival game, is it? For those who haven't played it, the only way to survive is to obliterate the entire planet. Humans are working on a cure that can kill you, so we're in a race against time.
There is also The Cure mode, of course. This allows you to compete for survival as humans while trying to find a treatment for the spreading disease. Playing as the virus presents similar difficulties, so it's a nice change.
